I don't think I'd mind so much that a baby chick was named after me...though not so sure about a hen being named after me....chicken Fi doesn't come over quite the same.
D'oh! Just remembered that baby chicks actually grow into hens...or cockerels.. Did I say that I grew up in the country? :D
Moved from California to Oklahoma 9 years ago. My son is in the army, one daughter is in the Navy, the oldest is a graduate of OSU business major and is holding down the fort with me. We have a cow (Bambi) that thinks she's a dog, a dog (Darla) that thinks she's the cows mother, a chicken (Hendini) that doesn't know what she is, ducks and baby chicks, cats (that like to go walking with me and the cow and dog) and lots of room to walk and go fishing.
