Crazy Animals

Poor Darla! This is downright embarrassing! Her puppies are all gone and this cat moved right in and started nursing on her.

None of my animals seem to know what they truly are. The dog thinks she's everbodys mother, including the cow (that thinks she's a 500 lb dog). Hendini (the chicken) thinks she's the Great Goddess of the coop now that all the baby chicks and ducks are settled in with her for the winter. What else would she think being the biggest out of them all and can do the Great Magic Trick of creating eggs when none others can.

It's a strange world out here....

Have a great day!
Sandy

  1. We used to have a pet family dog, ( Irish Setter ) who thought she was human and would take the huff if she wasn't included as part of all family outings...she was once left in kennels whilst we were camping up North of Scotland, and she was just in such a state of hysteria by the time we returned ( then took the huff for about a fortnight ), that afterwards she came along with us on every trip, even though she hated being stuck in the back of the car,and thought she should sit on my mums lap in the front seat :D

In the village where I was brought up a neighbour kept a henhut at the bottom of his garden, and er..urm..sometimes me n' some friends would sneak in and try to find eggs..though were soon swiftly chased back out again..the hen was probably a bit like your Hendini, i think!...

It's always interesting hearing about other folks worlds...I loved the photey of Darla and the cat, she looks totally mortified, in a very human-sort-of-a-way..like 's'cuse me!! Wot the 'eck's goin' on around here??' :D

Tak' care and hope you ( and the family ) have a great weekend!
